Chepanzee? Chimpanzee? Pancake?

A new restaurant in Gurney Plaza. It's just next to Breeks called Chepanzee.

Last Sat after my work, me and boo made our way to Gurney Plaza to continue our Christmas shopping. The night before we noticed the new restaurant..so we decided to try it on Sat. The restaurant is still under the same owner of the previous shop which sold japanese cheese cake.
What's on the menu...well one unique thing is that they have savoury pancakes. Usually we have pancakes with ice cream, jam etc. But this place sells pancakes served together with meat. It's not that new to our taste as there's another shop along Gurney Drive called Creeps that sells savoury pancakes too.

Well back to what we ordered, I had the Frankfurt sausages wrapped pancake and Boo had the Roast Chicken Pancake.

At first we were both sceptical whether the serving would be enough to fill our stomach. But good thing, when served the portion was pretty filling. For my dish..they gave three sausages. Garnished with Mash Potato and Salad. The Sausages tasted like Ayamas Black Pepper sausages. But combination with the pancake was nice topped with some mayo. The Mash Potato on the other hand was excellent. Tasted just the same as the mash potato at Sunshine Square Food court. It was topped with Black Pepper gravy which was very peppery.
Thumbs up for that.

Boo on the other hand, his pancake was as good also. He had three chicken ham slices with a layer of cheese inside the wrapped pancake. He loved it...but halfway through he got Gelak of it..and I got half of his Mash Potato..yahoooo....

Currently they have a promotion going on where you can get free coffee when you order the pancake and pizza meals. Workers there are pretty friendly too. As Boo was taking pictures of the food (of course we asked permission) one of the guys had that worried look on his face. He probably thought we were some food critic people. But funny thing halfway through our meal he came up to us and asked "so how's the food?"

Next trip we shall try their desert pancakes. Prices there are quite resonable.

So it's a must try everyone....
