Makan Time Part (1)

Ed & Cher..
Last week Friday we (Me, Cher, & Julian went to this restaurant called Seoul Garden @ Gurney Plaza. It’s something like our Penang typical BBQ Steamboat Buffet which is much more expensive. RM35 nett per person. But with the price you pay, you get a good service, very nice food, lotsa choices, lotsa drink (Coca Cola, Sprite, 100 Plus, ice lemon tea and etc), ice cream (6 types) and more.

Some of the food choices

Doesn’t this look yummyyyy??

And more food

The Fugitive is Back!!!!

People People the Hitz.FM Fugitive is back....It's going to start next week. You can win up to RM 50K for just finding the fugitive. AaaaaHHHhhhhhh....

But i'm so dissapointed cos this time around i'll be slaved to my work in the office. Gone were those days back in college when my friends and me use to skip classes just to hunt down the fugitive. The last hunt, me and aunty dugong nearly caught the fugitive at Dewan Sri Pinang. The damn person was upstairs all the while. Me and Aunty dugong and Ahma Dugong didn't think of going up cos we thought, nah the fugitive won't be hidding upstairs. It was all lonely and secluded. The cash amount at that time was RM 17K. Dammit, one lucky fella won the prize as he went upstairs to search. Before that I remember talking to him about the fugitive dilemma.

It's cool when your participating in this...as you're not the only person running up and down hunting the fugitive. During that time, if you're at a spot and see people walking aimlessly carrying a radio and a handphone, they are also hunting down the fugitive. But it gets very depressing when someone else finds the fugitive at a location you were at before!!!!

The game's very easy. Just tune in to Hitz.fm on the clues of the whereabouts. Once a clue is out....out you go to the location you think it is. Once you spot the fugitive you have to approach him/her and say this "Are you the hitz.fm fugitive?" If yes, you have to get the person to call HITZ.FM (

"NEW" Job....

I have a painfull ulser on my tongue. Didn't know it was that bad until lunch today when i was trying my very best to chew the chicken without having to suffer that weird pain. Looks like Bonjela's coming out tonight....

And so about my 'new' job. It's not 100% confirmed yet. Still waiting for HR to contact me on further details. But I cross my fingers all goes well and that i'll be satisfied to what they have to offer me. It's been very exciting at the moment. The thought of chucking my work aside to a new girl. The thought of "worry no more" on my work...and the best thought, telling my director off about the smoking environment in the office. Can't wait....

The 'new' job would be as a buyer. This was the last position I had in mind last time...but as time passed by with alot of nagging from Boo....I started to realise that my career path with the experience I have now would be good for that line. So I started applying vigorously. But for this particular position, my previous boss helped me out. She was advising me to leave this company as she sees alot of potential in me but i'll be stunted if i stay on in the current company. So she helped me to submit my resume. Really need to thank her when it's 100% confirmed.

But apart from the excited-ness, I'm getting abit nervous. Nervous why?
1) Don't know if I can handle the job well. What if I mess up things?
2) New atmosphere and colleagues
3) Have to work hard, stay back, come back during weekends to finish work (as advised during the interview when there are alot of projects running)
4) Will I have time to spend with my Boo in the evenings?
5) Would my gym times be messed up?

I guess I'll have to make some sacrifices. As my Dad says, I'm still young, work hard, climb up the corporate ladder so that later on in life I can enjoy. So I guess I have to embrace all these fears and nervous-ness. Phew adulthood sometimes is hard. One has to juggle with money, decisions, career and one's future as we can't depend on our parents anymore. I've always had this responsibility with me that as my parents grow older and retire, I'll have to take over all expenses and look after them. So being the only child, all finances will be coming from me and not shared by any siblings. What if I don't have enough to support them? I certainly don't want to dissappoint them but give them a good and exciting life for them to retire in. I know my parents love travelling. Hopefully in the future i can afford to send them on a few holidays. That would be exciting.

So is my future good??

Do Mamak Man wear Undies under their Sarong?

The answer's YES

This is hillarious.....last time I always wondered if they do wear undies....now my curiosity is solved.

On the way back home for lunch as I was driving in my housing area I saw a Mamak uncle (old) about to bend down to fix something on his bike. Not that i purposely turned but while driving pass the house, I was curious to what he was doing. Just as i turned my head he bend over and opppssss.....saw his undies, white colour.....hahahahahha. Wonder if he knows that he tied his sarong a lil too high up. Certainly not for old Aunties to see. Their heart might skip a beat.

So case solved

For the one I Love

It's in your arms I want to be tonight,
It's your voice I want to hear tell me it's alright.
It's your presence I want to feel near,
Can you guess who I wish were here?

It's your whispers I want to respond to,
It's your wishes I want to make come true.
It's for you that I live
And all my love, to you, I give.

It's you that I want to make smile,
It's for you that I'd walk that extra mile.
It's you I will always treasure,
My love for you, has no measure.

All these things and more
I will give to you, the one I adore.
And every night I thank them Angels up above,
For sending you for me to love.

Now if you have any doubts as to the way I feel,
I'll erase them all with all my will.
I'll see to it that you always know,
Just how much... I love you so.

Something To Think About

Someone will always be smarter.
Their house will be bigger.
They will drive a better car.
Their children will do better in school.
And their partners will fix more things around the house.
So let it go and love you and your circumstances.
Think about it. The prettiest woman in the world can have hell in her heart.
And the most highly favored woman on your job may be unable to have children.
The richest woman you know -she's got the car, the house, the clothes - might be heartbreakingly lonely.

So, love you. Love who you are right now.
Tell yourself, "I am too blessed to be stressed."
"To the world you might be one person, but to one person you just might be the world."

Get em black heads out!!!

Biore pore packs is a very usefull gadget to get those black heads out from your nose. All you have to do is, give your face and nose a good scrub. Then with a wet nose, paste the pore pack slowly on your nose. Be sure not to get your wet fingers in the pore pack as it'll stick on your finger. It get's very sticky when it touches water.

After 10 minutues, or when pore pack has dried up or harden, slowly tear it off your nose. That's when all your black heads get stuck on the sticker when it's being torn off.

The end it's nice to see the pore pack all full of your black heads sticking out on it. At times it looks gross but then you get that satisfied feeling "ahhh there goes my black heads"

However the new Biore Pore packs I just bought ain't that good. It's not so effective to the old one without the special cuttings at the edge.

It's a cHEeSy deal

Pweeewittt......Someone's older now...and tat's my cousin, FIFI....Happy Birthday to you once again.

And so this time the dugongs didn't do any "one of those surprises" I for myself have retired from it as it's too much of a hassle to get everyone's co operation in it. Moreover the timing of everyone has to be on time if not the surprise would be a total flop. Plus not to forget the money spend on oneself who's organising it. In the end no one remembers to pay back their share of the cake etc. So it comes to a point..."what the heck, let others do the work, while I sit back and relax"

So the dugongs ended up at Pizza Hut in Tesco. Service there was pretty bad. They took so long to take our orders, orders were messed up as we were given a large seafood platter by mistake (we refused to pay for it) and the pizza came late. The workers there don't seem focus on their work. Each and everyone's so busy that they forget about their customers. No system there.

So we planned to order the Cheesy Lava (large one) but Ahma dearest ended up ordering the wrong thing and we ended up with a regular Cheesy lava...but it was still good. One regular cheesy lava, one regular peperoni and a large hawaian. As glutton's only one slice of pizza was spared for my dog. But in the end it ended up in Boo's house.

Here's some pics we took.

After the Cheesy eating session, we decided to hunt down for some mini cornetto ice cream...but we only manage to salvage the mini hazelnut ice cream (not in cone shape). We then headed to Seagate to lepak (hang around) by the beach. Wasn't much as a beach but it was ok since we were all tired and lazy to drive all the way down to Batu Feringhi. Here's some pics.

Have you seen this size before?

Last Sat, Boo treated me for Italian food in Bella Italia just along Belissa row. When we reached it was all full inside, so we had to settle for a table outside. was not bad...we had a ceiling fan just above us so it wasn't stuffy. Boo ordered his Fetucchini Carbonara but he complimented that he prefers my ever famous Bacon and Leek Pasta.

And so I ordered a what you call "Foldover Pizza" When it was served...it looked like a huge Cornish or Curry Puff. Was so huge...wondered how was I to finish it. The filling had creme sauce with Turkey ham, Mushroom and alot of Ricotta Cheese!! Really loved the cheese part.

But I manage to finish it all up. Boo liked the crust area so I gave him most of the crust area. Wanted to settle for dessert, Tiramisu, but was too full.

It was a good dinner. Although the next day it was Gym for me......

Now U See It, Now U Don't

On Tuesday, after an exhausting Tennis trainning by Boo...we stopped by an Indian Barber shop near Transfer Road. This is what i snapped.....

Remember that Chipsmore Add, well I've created one too.....but this time it involves Boo and the Barber and his hair......

Now you see it......
You still see it.......
You still can see half of it.....

Received these pictures. It's probably a hoax about what this Restaurant serves, but just take a look at the picture below...DOES IT GET YOU HUNGRY? Bleurgh!!!!!

Tennis Update

Saturday, at 9 am we both played tennis at Heritage. It was good for me, but am not too sure if Boo enjoyed it cos he was teaching me the strokes and picking up my balls all the way. I enjoyed it...but as the time passed it started to get really hot.

Boo is a good tennis player. He used to be the state player last time during his schooling years. But since he moved to Penang, he stopped. He's been trying to start playing tennis again. But I'm no tennis player. We have a few people who have said they would like to play (who can play) but we've had no time to actually plan it. So i guess at the moment...it's to train me up so that in 6 months time, i would be able to at least play a game with my boo.

So we're starting to make this a regular affair. Today we've booked the tennis court, and darn they charge us RM8 bucks per hour for the electricity. Bummer....mornings are free but hot. Night time is not hot but have to pay....aiyo

Satay Babi Anyone??

If you know what i'm talking about, the satay babi located at Bangkok Lane. Then no need to read....but if you have no clue, you've got to be kidding!!!!!Call yourselves true Penangites!!!

You can find him on every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday mornings along Bangkok Lane. He starts selling at around 8. Around lunch time if he still has satay left he'll move over to another destination which i don't know the name of the road.

I started eating this satay since I was small back in my Nanny's house in Green Lane. He use to cycle up his cart in the mornings and I use to get so excited running out with the plate to order his satay. After that he didn't come regularly to Green Lane. Next I found him along Hamilton Road on every Sundays. Use to get my dad to hunt him down after Mass. Then he stopped coming. Thought he had already stop selling. But when i started college faith must have brought me back to him again. Realised he now he sells near my college and Bangkok Lane. Whopppie!!!!

This Satay Babi is not like any other satay. It doesn't have the serai taste. It's totally marinated in a different way. And what's good about his satay, he serves it with sweet potato sauce (not any normal peanut satay sauce) and as a side dish we can have toasted bread soaked in coconut and kunyit. Marvelous!

Every fourth night, he sells intestines. But I have never tried it before. But according to my parents it's very juicy, tender and tasty. Usually it goes like hot cakes and if your lucky you get to have a few sticks.

Broccoli high cholesterol?

Duh!!!!

Just had a silliest remark from one of my colleagues just now while i was indulging in my lunch packed with nothing but Broccoli. As I was enjoying my peace and silence in the pantry, the door opened. Darn it was the last person I would like to talk too. Why cos she asks stupid questions at times, like "wah eating broccoli only. Do you know it's high cholesterol?" I was about to choke on my broccoli at that time. But managed to control my laugh and replied " Oh really, where did you get that info from"...she replies "oh i read it somewhere"....I really wanted to answer her back " read it from one of those email fwd mails or from the pantang's you've heard" Isn't it silly??? Broccoli is one of the healthiest vegetable packed with vitamins and minerals and she says it's high cholesterol. Arrgghhh.... Maybe she may have read it somewhere but missed out on certain important facts for example....Soya is bad for us if we have "Goiter" or "Ghaut", or all forms of beans is bad if we suffer from high Uric Acid. I guess she misses out the important facts and it comes...Soya is bad for us to take often or Beans is not good for us.

Once I was eating alone in the pantry when she walked in and saw i was eating long beans....she asked "wah nice smell, how do you cook it?" Another big DUH....take garlic char char put long beans char char salt pepper and walla, IDIOT!

Won't you get annoyed if you get these stupid questions while eating? Or am i too sensitive. Maybe PMS is kicking in...but i know I just can't stand her most of the times.

It'S FrIdAy

Yes Yes.....I've been waiting the whole week for today. Reason? Cos it's the end of a whole weeks work in the office. It's time to Party babeh!!!!!

This whole week been busy with quotes quotes and nothing but quotes. It gets pretty boring after sometime. But i play around with it. Give myself targets to hit and have interesting ways of doing it, so at the end of the day things just get so easy. Unless if last minute urgent things come in..my whole schedule's messed up.

Had a good compliment from an unexpected arrogant bastard. He's our principle. Always had a hard time dealing with him. But few days ago he spoke to me on the phone and said that I've improved and doing a good job. Said I response very fast. I was so surprised. Then he asked who do I report too..I told him who and joked to him to go and cucuk my boss about my performance. Dunno if he did so?

Gym, has been good. On Tuesday I attended a class called Cardio Abs. Ever since then, I've been paralysed. Hahah no what i mean my back muscles hurt when i squat, get up and even sit to pee. So have been off for 3 days. But today I'm back in action again. Going for a Body Pump Class. It's pretty interesting. It tones up your body. Something i need to tone up all my flabs. After that my arms are going to hurt again. But it's alright....I'm determined to slim down. Diet's still going on well. Except for weekends when I eat something different. But i replace it with Gym on Sunday to sweat out all those calories.

Mum's birthday's coming. I still dunno what to get her and where to go take her makan. Was thinking of some Buffet spots. I'll have to check it out. Talking about buffett me and boo have been twice to Seoul Garden (Basement of Gurney Plaza). The food concept is one of those BBQ Steamboat Affairs. It's quite good. There's alot of choices from raw marinated meats/ fish, Vegetables, Balls, already cooked meats (snapper fish, chips fried chicken) to a wide range of dessert like things from Ice cream to Campur your own ice kacang and fruits. What is nice too is the different variety of drinks to choose from. Lets see there was Green Tea, Peach Tea, Ice lemon Tea, Carbonated drinks, Lemonade and Ribena. We both Whacked till we were so full.....but of course Boo finished first as he eats really FAST! He complains that i eat so slow. I tell him he eats fast. He said no I eat slow...so yea...buffett...I can't enjoy much peace as he's looking and waiting patiently for me to finish eating..Bummer! Tension only

Hail Storm in Selangor

As promised in the previous blog....here's some pictures of the Hail Storm that hit a part in Selangor during the Haze spell. Due to the changes in the wind, I guess it triggered the hail storm to happen. Looks really cool. Have never experienced it before. Lucky for those people living in Selangor...it's something you won't see again in your lifetime, perhaps. But thank goodness the ice blocks weren't big enough to destroy building/ cars or even kill.

Clark Hatch

Work it work tat body....common don't give up...Yahooo......I'm finally a member of Clark Hatch. Paid my registration fee on Sat. Yesterday went there after work...was good. Joined the Spinning Class (bicycle aerobics) and then went to the gym to tone up my flabby parts. Stomach mucles now beginning to ache abit from the abdominal exercises....what was really surprising for me was the ladies there could sit through the whole abdorminal exercise while i was half dead on the floor with pain in my stomach....incredible....wonder if i'll be one of them in future. For them it looked like it was nothing for them...I'm so amazed!!!

Today will be bringing one of my colleague over as a guess cos I promised to show her how the place looks like. So we're scheduled to join the Spinning class and Yoga. Kinda looking forward to how Yoga is...hope I can do what is instructed. If not i'll probably just sit and watch. Boo might come along if he's not too tired. Understand if he's tired cos he gets up at 5.30 am during the weekdays to work. Thats what happends when yur working at Hell.

Today work in the office is pretty slow. Have just a few things to finish up. Just realised that I saved some interesting pictures about a Hail Storm. I shall posted up next.

Alot happened last week. Had a cousin down from London. He's a DJ working for DJ Mag. Haven't met him since 8 years ago. His stay was very short so we had to cramp in as many activities and food places to go. Every hour was crucial if not whole days plan would be ruined. Wanna know what weird food we let him try...he's the list

Smelly Beans- Sambal Petai
Cat Shit- Muar Chee
Vagina- Apom
Fish stomach- Perut Ikan
Frog's egg- coconut sago
Black rice- Be Kor Moi

Hahahaha the list of food above were translated from it's original meaning..so it was fun tormenting my cousin just as he tries it out. But he loved all. All in all we manage to cover as many areas of food in Penang from Malay-Hawkers-Thai and Nonnya.

Pictures of Langkawi

Here's some pictures of Boo and his Colleagues. This was taken during their trip to Langkawi (The weekend spent without my Boo). Some of them I have never met but from all the stories I've heard they all sound like a crazy bunch of fella's. And guess which macho guy there is my Boo.....The one with the striking red shorts with a "Wanna Cluck" T shirt. This pic was taken on the Ferry. Boo said the journey back was very rocky and at one point the boat tilted that he could see half the window covered in water. Scary man. I know i've sat on the boat before but I can't remember a thing cos I was too tiny at that time.

Take a look at the sunset. Beautifull ain't it. This is the beach in Langkawi. Was asking Boo to take pics of the water and the beach but, poor him he was room bound cos he wasn't feeling well. His colleagues went island hopping to an island called (??- a pregnant lady figure) I've never seen it before but would certainly like to go see it soon. We're planning a trip there in Oct. So hope plans go well.

Here's a pic of the Langkawi beach during the day time. It looks so calm. However check out the clouds building up. Looks like rains coming by soon. However the sky looks haze free. The sand looks so white and smooth. How nice to rub it against my not so smooth feet. Here in Penang, I think the beach with this type of sand would be around Hotel Mutiara area. I think they got their sand specially from somewhere.

Anyhow, next week I'll be visiting the beach area. Have a cousin from London coming down. So shall see if i get some snap shots of Penang's beach.

The Haze has Hit

Saturday, woke up with an awfull smell in my room....The smell of the Haze it was. Was such an unpleasant odour to smell on a lovely Sat morning. There goes my plans to wash the car, to
exercise, to visit the beach at night. However nothing stopped my stomach for Francis!!!

On the way to Francis, hills and buildings were blur. Everything around was blurred. Manage to buy a box of mask. Talk about Demand and Supply, the mask was expensive. See the pic (Gurney Drive), the mask the kids are wearing, this mask was selling for RM 9 bucks!!!!

However the situation improved in the evening. Guess the strong breeze 'poofed' the haze

elsewhere. On Sunday morning, guess luck was still indeed on our side. It poured cats and dogs. Yahooo.......love the feeling of being tucked in bed while it's raining outside.

Anyways, Penang was lucky to have not suffered alot in the haze situation compared to KL. Who's to be blame??? Darn Indonesia. The Indo government says it'll look into the matter year after year. Up till now, nothing has been seen "looked into"

It'S A DoGZ LiFe

Do people care about dogs? This month had so many dead dogs experience on the road. It gets very disapointing to see how human's easily and carelessly just roll over a poor confused dog. Yesterday on my way back, was stuck at the Bayan Baru roundabout. I saw a tiny dog come out from the drain hole when there was no traffic on the opposite direction. Then I guess when the lights turned green motorbikes came rushing, and this poor tiny dog got scared and ran back to it's hole. I was thinking, poor dog. It must be lost. It doesn't have a home. People to love it. Wanted to just drive over there and take it home to my house where it'll be safe. But knowing my dad would not accept another dog. Little did that tiny dog know that it's life was going to end in a few hours time. At night on my way back with Boo, I saw the body of the tiny dog resting peacefully at the side of the road. It must have tried to cross the road again. Damn it!

Then to add to my misery, this morning on my way to work, saw another dog lying at the side of the road all stiff and bloated. This dog was huge. A mix breed which I use to see walking along the garbage places picking on any bit of food found. Do people ever try to break or avoid when seeing a dog in the middle of the road. Or are they just brainless and numb to just purposely go ahead and knock/roll the poor fella. I've seen some people who purposely drive faster to hit the dog....I condem those people! You brainless idots out there. Hope the same tragedy will happen to you someday.

There's another dog experience last month. On my way back from work along Batu Maung, there was a "Chiwawa" dog lying on the middle of the road. It was still ALIVE!!!! It had blood coming out from it's nose but it was still ALIVE. Know what cars did, they just slowed down and avoided the poor injured dog. There were a few motorbikes who stopped, but know what they were doing. Just chit chated among each other looking at the poor innocent life of the dog dwindle away by the minutes. Ish just felt like taking a stick and crack open their heads. At least stop the traffic, carry the injured dog to safety-la!!!!The next day was expecting to see some remains of the dog splattered on the road, but to my surprise the road was clean. So did someone really come and rescue the dog??? I pray hard that it's still alive today.

I have a dog which my mum rescued and she has been staying with us ever since then. We have a monsoon drain behind my house. One morning there was a dog yapping away and howling at the back. We went to check and there it was. This little dog was screaming for help in the drain. The tide was coming up and the water was rising. Any longer the she'll drown. Neighbours were all looking. But non of them helped. Know what they did? Carried their children and went "dog dog..see dog" f%^&Ing idoits...for heavens sake don't ever do that when your in that situation. You're teaching the wrong morals to your kids. You should at least take the innitiative to help the dog. Thanks to my mum and her bright ideas, she tied a stick with a dustpan and lowered it into the drain. The dog was smart it jumped to safety and my mum slowly carried up. We named it SCRUFFY. She was just a puppy at that time. Slightly bigger than my palm. For a week we kept Scruffy waiting for someone to come to our house to claim her back. She must have ran away or got lose from her owners. But a week passed, no one came. But was thinking why should we give SCRUFFY back to the owner, when they themselves didn't bother to come looking for her that morning in the first place. They probably had her locked up in cage at the corner of the porch. So why should we bring her back to that prison life. So we in the end adopted her.

Some people, they want to get dogs but they are not prepared with the work and noise they have to accept. When you have a puppt, obviously the puppy will bark at nights as it misses it's mum. Obviously it'll teeth on your shoes, cos it's teeth is growing. The best thing to do is let it be with you at night. Maybe put it in the house. It just needs a company to be with at night. Just like any baby. Without the mother it will cry. It's the same with puppies. But I've seen many who just can't stand it and give the dog away. Irresponsible people I would say.

Gym...

Followed Boo to Clark Hatch. The place is superb. Have never stepped into such a posh, i would say, gym. Comparing to the one I used to go last time, this one's 100 times better. Attended the cycling class. Was cool. Like an aerobic class except your on bicycles. And the coolest thing, you sort of cycle in darkness or with the dimmest of lights in the room with the music blasting. Music choice by the instructor was good. If I can recall, there was Eye of the Tiger, Last Episode, and a song from Modern Talking and etc. What was good was that halfway through when your legs are tired, the music or rather the beat of the music keeps you going. A very interesting way to push yourself to continue.

When i was at the lady's changing room, there were some who cooly took off their tops. It was abit kekok for me seeing it...but I guess it's something normal, right? But thank goodness they weren't fully naked unlike the gents. Boo said there was a guy walking fully naked around. His down under area wasn't a good sight to see...hahahaha. Ew!!!

So anyways Clark Hatch, I guess you'll be having a new member by end of this month. I'm fully motivated at the moment to loose weight. Been starting my diet already and exercising in the evening. It's no Carbo for me at all. Just Protein, Vegetable and Fruits. So wish me luck. Have an ultimate aim to hit at the end of this session.

Weekend without My Boo...

Weekend was spent alone. Boo and his team went to Langkawi. Was a Company Trip, so I couldn't tag along. Thought I would be occupied with loads of things to do but somehow didn't exactly have the mood. It started off, Sat morning woke up at 5.50 am. Fetched Boo, since it was still early we drove to town and had Dim Sum. It has been ages since i last ate it. Had the Hong Kong Chee Cheong Fun, but it wasn't that nice...no "uuummpphhh" At 7.30 am dropped my boo off to the jetty. Was really gonna miss him. Just as he got out of the car i asked for a kiss and he was reluctant to give one....sigh... are men that shy to kiss in front of people?? Or issit somekind of ego thing. There's nothing wrong in showing people how much you love someone right. But of course there's limits to it with a kiss...of course no french should be invloved in public.

So back to topic, drove the car around...was hoping to catch the Satay Babi man along Bangkok Lane. But too my luck he wasn't around. Darn...now i've got a bad craving for it now. Lunch time I had nonyah food at Mama's Recipe just along Abu Siti Lane. Food was good...dessert was lovely. It was the "bee ko moi" "black Glutinous rice"Finger licking good to the last drop!

Went back home afterthat. Needed some beauty sleep. Evening went to church. Then bought my dinner and headed back home. Parents were feeling weird to have their daughter in the house on a SATURDAY NIGHT. Catched the movie Lost and after that was feeling really bored. In the end slept early that night.

Next day woke up went for Choir. The cool thing is that one of the songs we're singing has three languages and we're singing it all....Bahasa, Tamil and Chinese. Found it kinda hard to pronounce the correct chinese words properly eg "qing"

After that I went to Gurney Plaza. Walked around, got myself a working green blouse. Looks like i'm into green this year. Have bought a few green blouses, 2 green shoes, 2 green earings and 1 green bag!!!Marvelous!

There's two new makan places in Gurney to try out. One is called Breeks and the other is somekinda BBQ restaurant. Hope to try it out soon....Food Critique's craving badly!

Sunday was pretty filled up compared to Saturday. Manage to take my Lucky "my dog" out for a walk before i fetched Boo back.

So that's about it. Was so happy to see Boo again...but unfortunately he was still sick. Fever was up.

....

Tomorrow i'm heading to the gym with my friends and maybe will drag Cheryl as well. I am on the hunt to find a bag (deuter or jansport brand). I need a big one, like those back packers style since i will be away to Shang-hai and Hong Kong for a 1 week holiday. And hopefully i won't be spending all my money on unwanted stuff. I spend more money on toy's like Gundam and etc now days than clothes, food and staitonery. Okay, so maybe not the last one. I rarely buy stationery, i think. And magazines. Oh my, the magazines! Someone should hold my wallet whenever i pass a magazine stall. Or blindfold me or something. Okay i take that back. i wouldn't want any sudden, scary surprises from you guys. Like attacks from behind with a paper bag. Don't get any bright ideas, people. you know what? I've cleaned my room! well, nearly. There's still clothes here and there, but at least my room is neat-er. my closet is the best. it's so nice now i'll only take clothes off the top and not grab the ones in the middle of the pile like always. for now, that is. Oh yeah, i've been busy burning CDs now, whoaaaah. need... to... save... money...

New HandphoneS!!!!

Ed's Gf here....

Look at that. Looks nice? Well i own it now...Yes those were the days when i had the old Nokia phone 6510. Last Sun, my Boo out of a sudden said "come I want to buy you a phone" I was so surprised. Surprised cos, Boo had only planned to get me a phone when he hits his 4K in commision. And I was incharge of motivating him everyday to reach the target.

But hmmm on Sunday, we were drawing money out and we came accross a compettition to count how many 8's there are in the pic. Then i pointed out on the Sony Ericsson Phone (phone which Boo wanted to get me) as one of the prizes. Dunno if that sparked his decision or this months figures he saw in his bank account number. Either one, I'm not complaining.

So when reached the phone shop...felt so good cos i knew I'll be walking home with a new toy. Yuppie!!!! True enough was so excited till while having my afternoon nap my mind was thinking about my new toy. Boo said he had never seen me that excited before. Was talking non stop to him about the phone. That was farney.

But wait that's not all.........

My Boo also got himself a phone. A more canggih one. It's Nokia 6681. He got it the next day. Pretty expensive too, but i guess nothings better than pampering yourself after a hard days work. His phone is the exact of the Nokia 6680 minus the 3G Technology.

So now we've both got a new toy. Boo's still learning new features about his phone everyday. As for me, I'm hunting down Ringtones. Since now with a new phone, I'm thinking whether to get Caller Ringtones???? But the last i checked out, the songs not so nice except for one Alicia Key song. But that has already been taken up by a friend....aiya....

So that's about it about the Handphones.....

Gosh, few days back was really sucky. It’s so sucky that I really don’t know how to put them in words to write it down here.

Wow, a bath can really makes the difference. Not much calls, customer all suck, but than again, i manage to hit this month target. Well, hope that the quota for next would be rather low comparing for this month which was 75k and we are talking in USD. Woowww..

The Countdown Ends

Oppsssss.......am i a bad gf for not updating my boo's b'day countdown. Well i can explain.....was in KL for the weekend, so no access to the internet.

So how did the Birthday celebration go? I took leave on Monday so that i could go to the market and buy the ingredients. Started cooking at around 4.30. Was rushing actually and was abit in a grumpy mood and was nagging my boo for not coming to help me. The whole day you know what he was up to??? Going up and down to town to buy his BMX bike. Yea it's a gift from his family. A pretty expensive one though....

So everyone gathered at his home at around 8.30. I was busy in the kitchen cooking the pasta and heating up the food. Here is what was served that night.
Bacon and Leek Pasta
Watercress Cream Soup
Mash Potato
Fried Tempura Squid

Thought i had made enough pasta sauce, but turned out not enough. Bummer!!! Everyone liked my pasta....GOOD!!!!So yea, very proud of it...heheheh but sadly my boo was occupied entertaining his guest that he didn't touch the pasta.

Here comes the surprise, the cake. NEW YORK Cheese cake which my boo has been hinting directly to me for the past few months..."Remember my b'day must buy me Secret Recipe Cheese Cake". So his wish was granted. We sang and he blew the candles...and as tradition he had to use his mouth to take out the candles...while doing so we tucked his head in the cake to get the cream on his face. It was hillarious.

Then came to presents. He had presents from two people. My cousin and me. Boo asked me, "eh why somemore presents?"...hahahhaha. So he opened it...my cousin gave him a really cool photo frame while her bf gave him a cool HID keychain light. He loved it. Then came to my present. Had 3 packages in the box.....wanna cluck T-shirt, Gap T-Shirt and a NIKE bag for his PDA and Hp when at work. So gooddiee he loved all.......so relief. Guess when i bought these presents, when Boo insisted to follow me that day when i had a secret mission at Gurney Plaza. So guess his wait was paid for in the end!

So that's it for his B'day...just a simple one. Would have been more exciting if the surprise wasn't ruined. But kinda think of it...if the surprise was on, I'll probably be tension cos one by one last minute couldn't come or had to be a bit late. So coordination would have totally flopped.

Oh no looks like my mission here in my boo's blog is over....B'day's over, countdown's over, time for me to pen off...perhaps i should start having my own blog...no wait i already have one....but have forgotten my password and userID...hahahah so till i rejuvenate my blog...I shall be silent. Amen........
